Lowphat skateboards are made with marine-grade Baltic birch plywood. The sheets are cut into strips and laminated using environmentally safe adhesives. The wood is placed into a curved mold for six to eight hours before it is shaped, sanded and painted. All my designs are original and painted by hand, with the exception of an occasional decal, such as the Lowphat logo.

Lowphat decks are sealed in a layer of epoxy and beach sand, typical of the non-skid coating used on the decks of boats. This strong, transparent grip allows the graphics to remain visible, unlike the standard board that has graphics on the bottom and black grip tape on the top. All boards have a rocker, which makes the board more maneuverable and it also looks very cool. Boards come standard with Abec 3 bearings, 65-76mm hubbed cruiser wheels, tracker trucks, and riser pads.
